Description Sottsass Associati in Milan expressed a desire to work with us to produce a range of original designs on Bonar Floors' flocked flooring. The studio's design interest was specifically aroused by the unique and unusual surface of nylon flock - a velvety, minimalist textile floor cladding with specific architectural qualities. They had never worked with such a material before, and it was an interesting design challenge made all the more attractive, because Sottsass Associati would be the first to exploit high definition digital printing techniques on flocked flooring, thus producing innovative aesthetics on this product compared to its standard appearance. |
